On MSNBC Chuck Todd read the electoral college eulogy for the McCain campaign. It was pretty freaking hilarious to watch. He did his best not to say it was over, while saying it was over. Congratulations President Barack Obama.

I was shocked to see Ohio go blue and go early. This is great news. With Florida and N.C leaning blue we could be looking at a freaking landslide victory for Obama! Fivethirtyeight.com predicted 346 electoral votes for Obama, looks like we might be headed there.

Krugman on the Republitards

From the NYT-

“But the G.O.P.’s long transformation into the party of the unreasonable right, a haven for racists and reactionaries, seems likely to accelerate as a result of the impending defeat.”

Fake Issues

Have you noticed that the corporate news media now seems to be so concerned over potential one party rule. I never heard that mentioned when that one party was Republican and it ruled horribly for six years.

Foxnews alternate reality

October 25, 2008 · 3 Comments

Just a quick note, MSNBC.com, and CNN.com have the McCain volunteer made up assault story on their front page. While in alternate reality land, Foxnews.com has completely scrubbed the story from their front page. Hmm I wonder why? Wasn’t it Foxnews and the Drudge report that told us this was the most important story of all time 48 hours ago? Oh but don’t worry, the right wing troll joe the plumber is once again the top story on Foxnews.com right now.

Tom Brokaw is still a fucking idiot

In the world according to Tom Brokaw, McCain can run a race baiting campaign, but if you call McCain a racist, you are a racist.

Foxnews alternate reality

October 19, 2008 · 3 Comments

This morning when I did my daily scan of political news I took a quick second to do a little comparison of how the major tv news sites were covering todays big story. To make a long story short the Powell endorsement was the top story on every site except Foxnews of course. I wasn’t particularly surprised. Fox does this all the time on their site and on their propaganda channel. Whenever the news is bad for Republicans and good for Democrats they’ll either not cover it, down play it, or out and out lie about it.

Sarah Fail-n

October 2, 2008 · Leave a Comment

First off, this was not a debate. This was Joe Biden answering questions, while some stupid ass soccer mom repeated the same talking points over and over. If follow up questions and rebuttal questions were allowed Palin would have looked like a bigger idiot than she does already. Frankly her performance was vapid, empty, boring, uninspiring and insulting to any thinking person. Great, we know she doesn’t know shit about anything, so instead of answering the questions she just made up her own little event filled with her own little prewritten talking points spewed over and over ad nauseam. Great, the little parrot memorized her lines, I’m sure her handlers were very proud.
