facebook. and facing your peers

I’ve recently noticed something about my old high school and elementery school friends on Facebook. It sure seems like alot of them are now married and have kids. It’s starting to make me feel like maybe I missed something along the way, and that maybe i’ve fallen behind and need to get more serious about relationships and my career. I’ve never really thought about marriage or children. I can’t say that I’m particularly interested in either one at this exact moment, but then again at some point we all have to grow up, settle down and get old.

Passive aggressive dating pursuits. part 2

So, I messaged that girl from the bar. As I mentioned previously, I’ve known her for a year or so. I was always under the impression that she wasn’t single, but I was somewhat curious and thought that maybe, just maybe, she might be single. Here is how todays Facebook drama went down.

Her reply was ”Right now it is a little complicated, but no I am not single.”  

My reply was “If your sitituation changes, you know where to find me”.

We’ll see if anything comes of it, but for now, I must go back to the “meetspace 2.0″ aka the bar.

 

 

When that person from HS messages you on facebook

Ummm, yeah so my girlfriend from 11th grade/almost 15 years ago just messaged me on face book. How odd. I don’t remember our relationship being that special. We did make-out quite a bit, but she wouldn’t let me touch the boobies! Which was somewhat excusable seeing as how she was a 10th grader at the time. She was a cutey, and she was the president of her class, I wonder what she grew up to be. Anyways i feel weird about responding, but i will. 

Oh in other Facebook news i still haven’t messaged that girl from last thursday, the girl from the bar, you know of which i speak? If not, go back and read last friday’s post you jerk.
