Maxine Waters is a fucking idiot

March 24, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Is there any way we can kick that dumb bitch out of the Democratic party? A few weeks ago the NYT ran a story about her influence peddling to get money for some shitty bank that she had direct ties to, then last week during the AIG uproar she blamed the Obama administration, and check this moronic performance she put on today while questioning Timothy Geithner.

On broken video games

March 20, 2009 · Leave a Comment

The ultimate insult you can bestow upon any video game is to say that not only is it not worth a buy, it’s not even worth a rent. MLB2K9 fits that insult perfectly. The game is truly a fucking disaster. How do I know this? Well, it’s because I own MLB2K8. You do remember MLB2K8, that wonderfully broken piece of shit that 2K released last year. It was filled with numerous bugs such as frame rate problems, mid game freezes, the worst base running controls of all time, broken fielding controls, numerous stat tracking glitches, and worst of all it literally has specific franchises that are unplayable because of constant freezes.

Do I sound like I’m a little angry about MLB2K8? Do you think some of that anger carried forward into MLB2K9? Yes it did, but it wasn’t anger that caused me not to buy or even rent MLB2K9. It was that shitty demo for MLB2K9 that sealed the deal and caused me not to even rent the game. Someone needs to explain to me how a company (2K) that can’t even make one decent MLB game somehow has four different MLB games on the market in one year? And shockingly all of those games turned out to be mediocore to poor quality. Go check the metacrtic score for that abomination known as MLB Front Office Manager. MLB2K9 didn’t fare much better either.

My message to 2K is this, you should immediately relinquish the MLB license agreement that has excluded EA from making an MLB game. Secondly, you should either shut down your MLB game studios completely or take the necessary two or three years to make a game that is at least worth a rent. Because right now there is no way in hell your MLB games division is profitable, and at this rate you’ll be bankrupt soon.

On right wing troll Mike Krzyzewski

March 19, 2009 · 1 Comment

Hey Coach K, maybe you should spend more time figuring out how to win NCAA basketball championships rather than criticizing President Obama. Oh and by the way coach, good luck recruiting the top black players when they find out you’re an Obama hating right wing troll.

“Coach K is a longtime Republican donor who made waves when he hosted a 2002 fundraiser for North Carolina senatorial candidate Elizabeth Dole at the university-owned Washington Duke Inn. His group, to the consternation of many non-Republican faculty and students, was called “Blue Devils for Dole.”

Spring Break Alternatives

March 15, 2009 · 1 Comment

Due to the current economic downturn, some people simply don’t have the money to pay for a fancy spring break get away. Here are some alternatives.

1- Spring break Somalia with one week pirate internship included.

2- Spring break Mexican drug cartel style. All accommodations paid for by kidnapping drunk ass american skanks and holding them for ransom.

Spring Break

March 15, 2009 · Leave a Comment

I’m not actually going anywhere except for a few spring training games. This semester has gone by so fast. With a month to go I’m carrying a solid B average and getting ready to register for summer school. Meanwhile I’ll be applying for UF and FSU this week. Let me end the suspense, I’ll be accepted into both as well as USF and University of Tampa which I applied to a few weeks ago. While I’ve always been a “fan” of UF, my decision has nothing to do with that. My thought process is that I want to get the best possible and highest quality educational experience I can get, and I know that’s what UF has to offer.

There is one small problem though, and that is having to live in Gainesville for two years. Gainesville is literally the middle of nowhere. I’ll probably visit the campus, although right now I am leaning toward the more practical decision of just staying here and finishing my unfinished marketing degree at the University of South Florida while still working in real estate on the side.

Spring forward has totally screwed up my bio rhythm. I’ve been tired and haven’t slept right all week.

On CNBC and other worthless things

March 13, 2009 · Leave a Comment

I’ve heard all this shit before. I’ve heard this same song and dance after the tech bubble burst and Nasdaq crashed. I’ve already heard all of this fake contrition from CNBC, all of this self examination and reflection about how they’re so sorry about being complicit in the crash and the lies and that helped fuel it. And what happened after that?  Well less than ten years later the same exact thing happened all over again except this time it’s worse and it may actually cause a world wide depression. Oh and did CNBC  bother to fill some kind of responsible journalistic financial watch dog role over the last eight years? Hell no. Instead they hired a bunch of news reader money slut models like Trish Regan, Erin Burnett and that stupid blonde bitch.
