Foxnews alternate reality

October 25, 2008 · 3 Comments

Just a quick note, MSNBC.com, and CNN.com have the McCain volunteer made up assault story on their front page. While in alternate reality land, Foxnews.com has completely scrubbed the story from their front page. Hmm I wonder why? Wasn’t it Foxnews and the Drudge report that told us this was the most important story of all time 48 hours ago? Oh but don’t worry, the right wing troll joe the plumber is once again the top story on Foxnews.com right now.

I early voted today

October 23, 2008 · 2 Comments

And if you live in a critical swing state like I do then you’d better get your ass out there and vote now because the lines are going to be insanely long on November 4th. The early voting process is fairly quick, it took about a half an hour.

Have you noticed alot less political signs and stickers around

October 20, 2008 · 1 Comment

For whatever reason it seems like in this 08 election cycle I’m seeing alot less political yard signs and bumper stickers around the Tampa bay area. Significantly less on both sides. I think part of this is because Democratic Obama supporters are still nursing the scars of 00, 04 and are maybe a bit worried about another heartbreak. While on the other side most Republicans know that McCain is going to lose and lose badly so they don’t even want to be identified as being apart of that train wreck.

And a fucking rookie shall lead them!

October 19, 2008 · Leave a Comment

David fucking Price! I have never seen anything like that before. We all know the Rays bullpen is absolute garbage, they don’t have anything that even slightly resembles a closer and then out of fucking no where in steps David Price to save the game and lead the Rays to a game seven victory. I have no doubt that without Price the Rays pen would have found a way to give away this game. If Joe Maddon has any intelligence what so ever he’ll immediately declare Price as the closer for the World Series, because lord knows Dan Wheeler, Grant Ball-four, J.P Howell, can’t close a game to save their collective life. With Price as the end game hammer, I would say that the Rays can beat the Phillies and win the world series.

Tom Brokaw is still a fucking idiot

In the world according to Tom Brokaw, McCain can run a race baiting campaign, but if you call McCain a racist, you are a racist.

Foxnews alternate reality

October 19, 2008 · 3 Comments

This morning when I did my daily scan of political news I took a quick second to do a little comparison of how the major tv news sites were covering todays big story. To make a long story short the Powell endorsement was the top story on every site except Foxnews of course. I wasn’t particularly surprised. Fox does this all the time on their site and on their propaganda channel. Whenever the news is bad for Republicans and good for Democrats they’ll either not cover it, down play it, or out and out lie about it.

Oh those Halloween customes

October 17, 2008 · Leave a Comment

I don’t really understand this whole concept of adults getting dressed up for Halloween. Frankly I think it’s a little stupid. But there is one thing that I really really like about it. I’m not sure if this is a new trend or not, or if it’s always been there and maybe I haven’t noticed it before, but it seems like womens halloween costumes are becoming more and more stripper-ish. And I like it!

So last night I went to a pre Halloween party for the young professionals group I’m apart of. It’s pretty interesting when you see miss young professional all dressed up as miss sexy halloween custome girl. How does one describe seeing a full grown young adult woman in a tiny ass girl scout uniform. Or seeing miss corporate girl dressed as miss sexy nurse who looks like she just got off the strip club pole. I spent most of the night oogling the girl scout, who eventually offered me some of her cookies. I wanted to strike up a more personal conversation with her, but her boy scout dork friend was in the way. I spent the other part of the night chatting up a girl who was dressed in a Sex and the City outfit. Judging by what I saw last night this halloween should be pretty amazing. It’s my theory that alot of women use halloween to release their inner slut. And I like it!

The greatest choke ever

October 16, 2008 · Leave a Comment

Dan Wheeler is garbage. He has always been garbage. He was garbage with the Mets, he was garbage with the Astros and he is garbage with the Rays. At best he is nothing more than a serviceable set up man. But when used as a closer or in a critical situation he is a disaster on wheels. The instigator of tonight’s atrocity Grant Balfour is the definition of a journeyman. Nothing more nothing less. For every great performance he has, he’ll have an equally putrid performance to match it. The biggest travesty about this epic choke was Joe “deer in the headlights” Maddon leaving that piece of crap Wheeler in to blow the game.

Will the Rays still find a way to win the series? Perhaps. But what happened tonight will have repercussions and ultimately will probably cost the Rays a world series tittle. The Rays crap bullpen has been exposed for what it really is. God help them if they get in another tight late inning game again.
